I agree with you Tim. And I want to point out that the Camera-button is two-step wich means you can interfear with the settings before you snap the shot if Superior Auto dont get the scene right.

Seriously, so many reviews are basically not trying; if Superior Auto doesn’t get the ISO right (it often doesn’t) then just switch it off, for god’s sake, and select the correct mode yourself. It’s not hard to do.

Here are some example images that I’ve taken myself using my XZ1 – see much noise? Didn’t think so. See an absolute tonne of detail in very dark conditions? Yep.
